Lockdown celebrations just got a little juicier as Ye Olde Bell has introduced new speciality takeaway nights, including Burns Supper and Valentines.
In addition to their takeaway menu, they are running a series of special fine dining events where guests can light the candles and enjoy a fine dining experience from the comfort of their own home.
On Saturday 23 January and Monday 25 January 6pm-7.30pm Ye Olde Bell will be offering a Burns Supper.
Diners can choose from a delicious menu of delicacies including 'Chieftain haggis, with crushed buttered neeps and tatties, whisky cream sauce' and 'Loin of venison Wellington, buttered kale, confit of carrots, pomme anna, juniper & port sauce'.
£22 for two courses. £29 for three courses. Vegetarian options available on request. Orders must be placed by 6pm Friday 22 January.
On the Gourmet Pie Nights diners can enjoy hearty winter warmers, including the likes of ‘Braised shin of beef bourguignon pie with suet crust, buttered winter greens and duck fat baby roast potatoes’ and ‘Roast chicken, ham hock and leek pie, creamed champ mash, roasted cauliflower’.
The pie evenings are available on Saturday 30 January and Saturday 6 February between 6pm-7.30pm. Order by 6pm the evening before.
Valentine’s will look a little different this year with couples unable to enjoy a romantic meal out. However, Ye Olde Bell can offer a special sense of occasion with a gorgeously romantic dinner for two. Followed by a sharing dessert platter of dark chocolate truffle torte, Paris brest and raspberry pavlova roulade. Includes handmade Champagne truffles and a single red rose.
Available on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 from 6.30pm-8pm. £60 per couple. Order by 6pm Friday 12 February.
