Ye Olde Bell To Host Special Vegan Pairing Dinner

More and more diners are opting to go meat and dairy free and chose a plant based diet and Ye Olde Bell is embracing this trend by hosting a specialty vegan evening this June.
It was recently reported that the number of vegans in the UK has sky rocketed, with 3.5 millon people choosing veganism this year compared to 540,000 in 2016. Many more are also conscious of eating less meat and dairy.
The Vegan Speciality Evening will be held on Friday, 15 June. The menu includes five courses, paired with vegan wine and cocktails. These include the likes of Pop baked tofu, braised fennel & tomato confit paired with Bloody Maria. Roast aubergine, haricot, vert pepper ragu with wilted celeriac served with white wine, Cuma organic Torrontes, El Esteco. and Banana Populot – Bananas, raspberry coulis with vanilla baked in paper envelope accompanied by Super minty-chocatini martini. Non alcoholic alternatives are available.
The menus at Ye Olde Bell feature vegan dishes and they are always happy to try and cater for any dietary requirement their guests may have.
The vegan menu is priced at £45 per person, guests are asked to arrive at 7pm ready to sit down for dinner at 7.30pm.
Ye Olde Bell are hosting a series of foodie events throughout the summer. The next Speciality Evenings are Cocktails & Canapes on 13 July and Sangria & Seafood on 17 August.
