Upcoming Travel Plans

Travel is very much part of The Sticky Beak story, and over the next 12 months we’re hoping to add plenty more destinations to the blog. From closer-to-home breaks to longer journeys further afield, these are places we’re planning to visit, experience, and write about as we go.

As always, our focus will be on real experiences — where we stay, what we eat, what we discover, and the little details that help bring a destination to life. Some trips are firmly booked, others are still at the dreaming and planning stage, but all are journeys we’re excited to share.

This page gives a flavour of what’s coming up. Plans may evolve (they usually do), but wherever we end up, you can expect honest impressions, plenty of photos, and stories gathered along the way.

January 2026

• • An overnight stay in the Peak District with a chefs table and tasting menu
  We are looking for somewhere to go for a Sunday breakfast

February 2026

• • An overnight stay and dinner in the Bristol area
   
• • Seeing Raye at the NEC in Birmingham
  We have a room booked with Moxy but are always looking for alternatives

June 2026

• • We are off to see Paul Smith at the Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool
  We have some accomodation provisionall booked but looking for collaborations
