Derby Brewing Co are thrilled to announce the opportunity to own part of the company. After over a decade of unprecedented growth, in excess of 700%, a multi award-winning brewery, four award-winning venues and now employing more than 100 people, DBC is offering its customers and lovers of great venues and beers the chance to become part of the business. With the huge opportunity in the beer market and in great venues, after years of organic growth, the decision was made to push on and grab the opportunity.
2017 is set to be an exciting year with big plans including the launch of a Crafted range in craft keg and 330ml bottles, exporting worldwide, opening a new site with more to follow and developing existing venues, taking Derby Brewing worldwide.
To facilitate these exciting plans Derby Brewing will be releasing up to 10% of the business with shareholders able to purchase shares from £100. Shareholders will receive dividends and rewards depending on their level of investment.
Speaking of the development plans, Managing Director Paul Harris commented: “Our goal is to make 2017 a big year, launching our new crafted range, developing our venues, opening a new site, as well as sharing our great beers with the world. Going forward there are many options for continued growth across a number of markets. Over the years it has been quite a ride and we love the idea of as many people as possible being a part of what we are doing, being part of our exciting plans and of course enjoying a few beers along the way!”
The beer market in the UK has evolved significantly, taking influence from the craft beer revolution, with the market becoming increasingly global. As a result we have seen the recent success of both UK and US craft beers on the global stage and the increasing demand for craft beers both domestically and across the world. To make the most of this growing market we have developed a hugely talented and experienced team of award-winning brewers in order to develop their own craft beer range, Derby Brewing Crafted, a standalone brand designed specifically to stand out in the craft beer market.
Speaking of the plans Director of Brewing Trevor Harris commented: “It’s incredible to see the continued evolution of the business. We love the idea of the people of Derby and further afield becoming part of our exciting plans, here’s to more great beers and venues for everyone to enjoy, cheers!”
When it comes to our venues and future venues all our venues have their very own look, feel and retail offer, what we like to refer to as venues with soul.
Our current venues include The Tap, a specialist beer and spirit house, with over 75 beers & ciders and over 70 spirits; The Queen’s Head a cosy village gastro pub, with locally sourced food; The Greyhound a smoke and craft house with our own in house smoked menu and over 150 craft beers and ciders and The Kedleston Country House, our modern country house which combines an extensive bar, relaxed restaurant, a boutique hotel and wedding venue.
Shareholder opportunities range from £100 to £25,000, with investors gaining access to a range of benefits depending on the level of investment, including regular samples of new beers, discounts, AGM invitations and parties.
