Nottingham's renowned chef, Paul Thacker, finally opens his own restaurant, making it an unmissable addition to the West Bridgford food scene.
Hemisphere, an innovative Australasia themed dining experience,will feature unique dishes for brunch like soufflé pancakes with matcha green tea custard, Miso glazed salmon with poached eggs, feta, pomegranate and watercress.
In the evening, you can indulge in a selection of tapas, featuring dishes like black cod with miso, picanha steak, and grilled lobster jungle curry.With Paul's extensive experience as head chef at acclaimed restaurants like Chino Latino, the food at Hemisphere is guaranteed to be spectacular. At Chino Paul successfully led the concept for 15 years, earning multiple awards and 2AA rosettes.
Paul, along with his wife Rachel, also masterminded the concept of Uramaki Sushi, delivering handmade luxury sushi, fresh to your door—a successful lockdown venture that continues to thrive. He plans to integrate some Uramaki favorites into the Hemisphere menu.
Hemisphere is scheduled to open in early October and will be located in the former Shalimar restaurant, in West Bridgford. Paul is personally involved in the extensive refurbishment of the venue, with the help of his father, who has come out of retirement to support his son's dream.
Paul feels truly blessed by the support of family and friends in making his long-held dream come true.
