Patisserie Valerie to Open First Store in Chesterfield

High-end brand, Patisserie Valerie is set to open its first store in Chesterfield within the next month.



The renowned continental cake shop and bakery, which has become synonymous with their generous gateau slices and mouth-watering patisserie is to open a new store on Chesterfield high street. The famed brand currently operates over 150 stores through the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and the Chesterfield store will see the continuance of their expansion strategy to open 20 new stores each year. This newest addition to the Patisserie Valerie family, shall create approximately 20 new jobs.


The new Chesterfield store shall offer a full menu of hot food for customers to enjoy, whether they’re looking for a continental breakfast or an evening meal. The Chesterfield store shall also serve the brand’s decadent range of exquisite gateau slices and patisserie; the perfect sweet treat for any occasion. Whilst customers indulge in these delicious treats they can also enjoy handcrafted coffee made by trained baristas, and a range of loose leaf teas.


Customers will also be able to enjoy the brand’s traditional Afternoon Tea which is comprised of; dainty finger sandwiches with an array of fillings, mini cakes and mini patisserie bites. Also included are mini quiches and scones, served with jam and clotted cream.


The new store will also be a site to order and collect celebration cakes perfect for any occasion, and also wedding cakes. Customers can select one of Patisserie Valerie’s delicious gateaux or even opt to design their own using the company’s interactive Create-A-Cake tool. Patisserie Valerie also offers a bespoke cake service for birthday, wedding and other special occasion cakes which can be discussed with a member of staff in store.
