A Derby restaurant is bringing in the boys (and beer and cider drinking girls) with a unique spin on the bottomless brunch.

Nicco’s Restaurant and Bar based in Pride Park is famous for its brunch but is adding a new addition to its repertoire by swapping prosecco for pints in what’s being called the ‘ultimate session’ for beer and cider drinkers.

The brand-new concept is the first of its kind in the city and features 90 minutes of unlimited beer or cider alongside a hearty Indian inspired breakfast.

The idea was born after the team spotted that ‘bottomless’ usually meant afternoon prosecco or cocktails, so they turned that idea on its head.

Co-owner Bhav Kumar said: "At Nicco’s we’re always looking to create experiences that people can’t find elsewhere. What makes this special is not only the beer selection but the food. Guests can enjoy authentic Indian flavours, unique breakfast dishes and a social atmosphere that feels completely different to a traditional brunch."

This is about bringing friends together, enjoying fantastic food and starting the weekend with a great atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating, catching up or just looking for something different to do, people are already loving it."

Having hosted more than 10,000 brunch guests since opening, Nicco has become renowned for its creative themed events. Over the past year alone, customers have enjoyed sell-out brunches inspired by Beyoncé, Mamma Mia and the sun-soaked vibes of Ibiza.

What makes the concept particularly unique is the combination of premium beers and an Indian-fusion breakfast menu.

Guests can choose from Cruzcampo, Guinness or Inch's Riversider cider, offering a wider selection than many traditional bottomless brunch experiences.

The food is equally distinctive.

Alongside authentic Indian breakfast favourites such as Chole Bhatura and Aloo Paratha, diners can enjoy Nicco's signature Breakfast Naanwich and The Big Bombay, the restaurant's own take on a full English breakfast featuring masala baked beans.

The result is a bold and flavour-packed brunch experience that offers something completely different from the traditional prosecco-and-pastries formula.

The Bottomless Beer Brunch is available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 10am and midday and costs £39.99.

Bhav said the feedback so far has been fantastic, and she is excited to welcome even more people to try Derby's first bottomless beer brunch.

The Bottomless Beer Brunch is now available as a permanent feature at Nicco Restaurant and Bar. Advance booking is recommended.
