Seven Bar & Restaurant has announced that it is getting ready to double up on the success of its last Gin Garden event.
Gin lovers from across Derby were so impressed with the venues last event, which saw record numbers getting into the spirit of things, that a follow up event will be held on Friday August 25 from 12 midday.
The free one-day event will be hosted by the eatery located in the city’s bustling Pride Park.
Seven’s gin mixing expert will be hosting demonstrations on the best mixers, alongside talks on the best garnishes.
Managing Director, Helen Salloway said: “Our last Gin Garden event was a total success, and everyone was really impressed with the range of gins on offer. Our customers were able to try a variety of different garnishes.
“Gin cocktails are hugely popular, especially with the headlines last month relating to the launch of pink gin.”
The festival invites everyone from gin connoisseurs to complete beginners to celebrate one of the nation's most popular tipples.
Last year alone, British drinkers consumed around the equivalent of 1.12 billion G&Ts, according to the Wine and Spirit Trade Association.
An array of nibbles will also be on offer to accompany the 15 gins on offer, such as olives and accompaniments.
The boutique bar & restaurant boasts a selection of menus, from champagne breakfast options, to a la carte dining, and this event is just one of many in its annual calendar.
