With less than four weeks to go before Thoresby Park opens its gates for another helping of the Festival of Food and Drink, it’s time to grab your tickets for a sensational weekend of foodie entertainment.



To whet your appetite, and celebrate our 12th year, we have included 12 tasty reasons why Thoresby Park is the place to be on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September.


•    160 stalls – delicious food, drink, gifts, crafts, and homewares to shop and explore with many stalls’ undercover
 
•    TV Chefs each day – enjoy tops tips and lively and interactive demos in the Cookery Theatre. All included in your ticket price. On Saturday 20th, Rosemary Shrager, Simon Rimmer and Paul A Young will be stepping up to the plate and on Sunday 21st, John Torode, Francesco Mattana and Chris Baber. Chris Bavin will once again host proceedings throughout the weekend.


•    Live Music – enjoy live performances throughout the day as you feast on tasty street food and sip a cocktail 
 
•    Kid’s Cookery School – a chance for budding bakers to have a go
 
•    Bookable sessions – try your hand at cupcake decorating, enjoy charcuterie tasting sessions, or learn how to make the perfect cocktail


•     Live BBQ demonstrations with local company Blok


•    Free Activities for Kids – arts and crafts, baby sensory and circus school available for children of all ages


•    Wood carving demonstrations with chainsaw artist Mike Burgess
 
•    Family tickets available to purchase in advance and under 5’s go free
 
•    Free Parking – convenient and free parking close to the festival grounds
 
•    Dog Friendly – The festival is dog-friendly
