August 2025 - Hart’s Hotel & Kitchen is delighted to introduce its new à la carte menu, crafted to celebrate the vibrant flavours of the season and the bounty of local British producers.

Created by our new Head Chef Lewis Ward, together with Michelin-starred Executive Chef Aaron Patterson of our sister hotel Hambleton Hall, the menu offers a refined yet approachable interpretation of modern British cuisine, driven by a deep respect for locally sourced ingredients.

A message from Tim Hart, Owner:

“Lewis and Aaron’s menu is a delicious and timely offering, created in response to ourclients’ feedback. We aim to please with thoughtful service, carefully cooked dishes madefrom great ingredients, and a small but interesting wine list.”

Highlights from the menu include:

  • Ham Hock Terrine – served with piccalilli, pickled summer vegetables and toasted sourdough, this spectacular starter is full of texture and tang.

  • Seared Tuna Niçoise – With heritage tomatoes and olives, this light, vibrant dish balances bold Mediterranean flavours with the delicacy of expertly seared tuna.

  • Lamb Chump with crushed Jersey Royals, English broad beans and rosemary-mint sauce – a hearty celebration of summer’s finest.

  • Seabream Fillet with red pepper stew and bouillabaisse sauce – a nod to the coast, rich in Mediterranean flavour.

  • Homemade Tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and English green beans – a comforting vegetarian option bursting with umami.

A tempting dessert list, including a Seasonal summer fruit salad with vanilla gelato and a Hambleton Bakery tart with raspberry sorbet.

Whether you're joining us for a long lunch, celebratory dinner, or a relaxed Sunday afternoon, we invite you to discover dishes that are grounded in seasonality, crafted with care and served in the welcoming surroundings of Hart’s Hotel & Kitchen.
