One of the oldest family bakers in the East Midlands has unveiled new updated branding and livery to reflect its heritage and quality.

Derbyshire-based Luke Evans Bakery has also launched a fresh new website to mirror the stylish changes.

MD of Luke Evans Bakery Helen Yates said: “Luke Evans Bakery has been producing top quality breads, cakes and baked goods for its customers for more than 220 years. Throughout that time the company has continually evolved to ensure it thrives and retains its position as one of the best bakeries in the business.

“The new modern branding freshens things up and reflects our impressive heritage, while at the same time putting us in good stead for the future. It is part of a long-term investment in the business to ensure our continued success and to help our wholesale customers to increase their sales with improved visibility for our products on the shelves.

“We are well known as a Derbyshire and East Midlands bakery, and these changes help to ensure that our brand remains prominent.”

Luke Evans Bakery has been a family bakers since 1804, and supplies both retail and catering customers across the East Midlands.

With such an impressive heritage, it is one of the oldest family bakers in the country and operates 24 hours a day from its premises in Riddings, producing high quality bread, cakes and baked goods.

The latest updates see the introduction of stylish navy blue, copper and white colours for the brand. The copper is a subtle nod to the traditional orange that was used by Luke Evans Bakery for three generations.

The new branding is being rolled out across the vans, bakery signage, shop, uniforms, point-of-sale materials, packaging and website.

“The rebrand is contemporary and classy – helping the Luke Evans Bakery brand to stand out and shine,” added Helen.

Two years ago Luke Evans unveiled an upmarket, new-look shop at its headquarters, after investing in new counters and displays at the shop in Greenhill Lane.
