Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Robert and Jo Everett, White’s of Ashbourne has this month celebrated its first birthday!
The celebrations are further enhanced by the arrival of new head chef Simon Bates. Simon, former head chef at Derby’s The Wonky Table, has devised a fabulous new summer menu. It features beautifully balanced seasonal fresh ingredients, perfect for a summertime dinner or light lunch in the garden.
Plates on offer include a light and flavoursome heritage tomato salad, succulent corn fed chicken with chorizo and pea & asparagus velouté, fresh cod with pickled fennel and a gloriously colourful beetroot orzotto topped with goat’s cheese and walnut crumb.
White’s is also now open for Sunday lunch.
Jo “It’s been a fabulous first year and we have been made really welcome in Ashbourne. The excitement of our first birthday has just been really boosted by Simon joining the team. He comes with not only experience but some truly lovely ideas which we think will go down really well.”
