Hotel Chocolat hosts exclusive launch event at intu Derby

Luxury chocolatier Hotel Chocolat is set to welcome the chocoholics of Derbyshire to its new intu Derby shop at an invite-only launch event.
The boutique store and café concept, which opens its doors on Wednesday 11 July, will celebrate by hosting an after-hours VIP event on Thursday 26 July, with a limited number of exclusive tickets available to the public.
Hotel Chocolat will welcome guests to the indulgent affair, where there will be a selection of samples available, including chocolates, ice cream and extravagant drinks, as well as complimentary fizz and exclusive discounts across the brand’s high-end gifts and products.
There will also be live demonstrations from a chocolatier, showcasing how the expert’s craft chocolate into works of art throughout the evening. You can even make your own bar!
Shoppers can be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the VIP event by entering a competition on intu Derby’s Facebook page or by visiting the store during its opening two weeks.
In addition, visitors heading into store on Wednesday 11 July will be able to sample a range of chocolates and café products, and also make the most of opening discounts on Friday 13 July, with 15% off Chocolat’s tempting products.
Adam Tamsett, General Manager at intu Derby, said: “We are delighted to announce the hotly anticipated arrival of Hotel Chocolat. The brand is renowned for its high-quality, ethically sourced, and inventive chocolate, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the centre.
“The store will be a chocoholic’s dream. The launch will offer guests the opportunity to indulge, sample the brand’s famous products and take home some sweet treats at discounted prices, too.”
Co-founder Peter Harris, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our portfolio with the launch of our first café store in Derby. Ideally placed in the heart of the city, it promises to offer customers the perfect retreat, serving our signature cocoa-based drinks.”
Hotel Chocolat will open on Level 2 of intu Derby next to Swarovski on Wednesday 11 July.
