La Belle Assiette is an online private chef service, who bring talented local chefs into people’s homes to provide the full restaurant experience, whether it be for dinner parties, events, or any other special occasions.
With over 300 active chefs across the country on La Belle Assiette’s roster, it is easy to take the stress out of hosting a dinner party. You can choose the cuisine of your choice, from Nordic to Nepalese, with a host of carefully crafted set menus available to select at the click of a button. Better still, said menus can be personally customised, ensuring that all dietary requirements are easily catered for. The chef will buy fresh ingredients, come to your home and cook a fine-dining meal, they even do the washing up! Leaving you to relax and enjoy the evening.
Many young chefs across the UK are now choosing to work independently instead of in the highly pressured environment of restaurant kitchens. This allows them to use their creativity to create unique menus, and interact with their clients in a more personal capacity. In the last year alone, over 500 chefs have applied to join the service, 50 of whom are based in Manchester.
Every time La Belle Assiette recruits a new chef, they organise a Validation Dinner. This is like a review dinner, which gives the chef an opportunity to showcase their skills whilst being judged by the host and their chosen guests. The Validation Dinner is an integral part of a chef’s induction process to La Belle Assiette, as it allows them to make an impression on the company and potential future clients. Chefs are assessed on factors such as creativity, presentation and the taste of your food, as well as overall service and interaction with the guests and host.
