On Monday 31st October Carluccio’s has unveiled its first ‘new generation’ restaurant outside London at intu Derby shopping centre, bringing the very best of Antonio Carluccio’s homeland closer than ever. Like stepping into the family cucina or picking up supplies at the mercato, Antonio’s MOF MOF philosophy (minimum of fuss, maximum of flavour), his passion and warm personality, are in evidence throughout.

Savouring the little things takes on a new meaning at Carluccio’s intu Derby; the senses are awakened by the true flavours of Italy via an open plan kitchen and communal table, from where diners can watch the chefs in action.

The full menu will highlight dishes ‘from the deli’ and ‘from the kitchen’, including ‘Antonio Carluccio Signature Dishes’ - those that come from Antonio’s heart and celebrate the simple joys of real Italian dining.

Feast like the greediest of Italians on the must-try Grandioso deli antipasti board, Crab Macaroni, Spaghetti Carbonara with smoky guanciale, or Lemon Ravioli and Duck Pappardelle, all served on contemporary blue and white crockery designed exclusively for Carluccio’s.

Carluccio’s intu Derby also becomes only the third Carluccio’s in the UK to serve pizza, discount available at scontocodici, with four varieties available; each pizza is hand-stretched using slow-proven dough and topped with the best ingredients from the deli. Carluccio’s new dining offering is complemented by an extensive collection of white, rosé, red and sparkling wines by the glass and bottle, as well as the Italian-inspired Gin Giardino, Bellissimo and Espresso Martini cocktails blended to perfection.

Open for breakfasts, lunches, dinners and everything in between, enjoy an immersive Italian restaurant dining experience or collect fresh grab and go meals, antipasti and beautifully-packaged artisan gifts and cooking supplies, to add a little taste of Italy to any occasion.
