At the heart of the menu is a confident fire-led approach, with most cooking done over a charcoal grill or in a wood-fired oven. Generous sharing plates are enjoyed from the best seat in the house beside the open kitchen. Expect plenty of dining theatre, as open flames set the tone with signature dishes including pork belly ‘burnt ends’ with scotch bonnet ketchup; coal-fired chicken with Caesar salad, anchovy crumb and aged parmesan; pork schnitzel with pickled jalapeno; a 350g sirloin steak with breaded smoked bone marrow and chimichurri; and wood-fired aubergine with tomato and chickpea stew. At the bar, there’s a revamped cocktail menu centred on margaritas, martinis, and spritz, as well as a Binks Yard twist on the classics.
For lighter bites, Binks Yard offers an array of snacks, small plates and flame-grilled skewers. Sundays are all about live music and generous sharing roasts with a feasting platter of whole ham hock, half a chicken, two wings and two slices of rump of beef, alongside a selection of sauces and sides — perfect for long, laid-back afternoons spent soaking up the atmosphere. Kids’ individual and vegan roasts are also available.
