Shottle Farm Brewery & The Bull Shed are located on a 60 acre working farm in Shottle, a couple of miles north west of the historic industrial town of Belper..

The Farm belongs to the Chatsworth Estate and has in the past been a much larger farm. As well as making their own cheese and beer they farm dairy and meat goats, have a small beef herd of Aberdeen Angus X Shorthorn and a couple of pigs.

The Bull Shed is located (the name gives it away a little!) in the old bull shed and the seating area being in the old collecting pen where the cows would wait before going into the milking parlour. The Bull Shed retains much of its original features with exposed stone walls, its sloping concrete floor with the cocks foot prints in it and massive steel beams holding up the grain floor, the beams we think may have come from the old Belper West Mill.

There is an open fire which all adds to the character and the relaxing, country feel of The Bull Shed. It can still get nippy in The Bull Shed so we advise layers, especially in the winter.
