The Red Lion

Welcome to The Red Lion Inn situated in the coastal village of Alnmouth, Northumberland. We are a traditional 18th Century Coaching Inn that’s a welcome retreat for those looking to stay over in comfortable and luxurious accommodation, sample freshly cooked local produce, and drink some of the finest local beers.

As well as quality bed and breakfast accommodation, we have a cosy bar serving CAMRA Cask Marque real ale with many local brews to sample. We are a dog friendly pub and well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area and beer garden, although unfortunately we are unable to allow dogs into the restaurant and bedrooms.

In addition to our ales, we are also renowned for high quality, locally produced pub food with a great restaurant, that serves up the very best Northumberland has to offer. In sunnier climes it is possible to enjoy your meal in our beer garden, with its stunning coastal views.

We have five guest rooms including one newly refurbished luxury suite. All rooms are en-suite and finished to a very high standard. If you’re looking for a B&B in Alnmouth, this central Inn with its spectacular garden views would be difficult to beat!
