Chatsworth Escapes has introduced a different dining special for each weekday evening from Monday to Thursday. Pizza and Fire & Feast nights take place at The Hide, with steak night at The Beeley Inn and pie night at The Pilsley Inn.

Monday is Pizza Night

The Hide has recently launched a weekly Pizza evening – so now there’s a reason to love Mondays with this invitation to enjoy a meal out with family and friends. Dine between 6pm and 8.30pm and choose from a selection of homemade wood-fired pizzas, served with an unlimited selection of dishes from the salad bar.

Classic Margherita; Pepperoni, Honey and Nduja; Smoked Meat Feast with chicken, pork, brisket, buffalo mozzarella, or Vegetariano with red pepper, sweetcorn, red chilli and feta, are included in the selection, with plenty of homemade salads, providing a rainbow of colour and fresh flavours. Salads include rocket, parmesan and aged balsamic; beetroot, orange and dill and black bean salsa coriander and lime, made with fresh seasonal produce from the Chatsworth Kitchen Gardens and Estate.

Prices are adults £19.95 per person and children (up to 14 years) £10 – for one pizza and unlimited salad serving. Add a dessert for £5 per person – be tempted with the soft ice cream, smoked chocolate brownie and dulce de leche baked cheesecake on offer, topped with sauce, fresh cream and sprinkles.

Monday evenings – 6pm – 8.30pm (pre-booking advised).

Tuesday is Steak Night

The Beeley Inn celebrates locally-produced Estate-reared beef, with its steak night every Tuesday evening, 5pm – 8pm.

Choose your cut from Heart of Rump, Denver steak, to Rib Eye* (*£5 supplement), served with fries, peppercorn sauce and a glass of house wine or a pint of guest ale for £20pp. Optional sides include truffle parmesan fries, sumac broccoli or buttered vegetables (£5 per portion extra).

A celebration of local Estate, kitchen garden and farm produce, the steak is sourced directly from the Chatsworth Estate herd, cared for by Farm Manager David Howlett. The cattle roam free range, whilst foraging grass, crops and berries. Vegetables to accompany are seasonal, and grown locally, either in the Estate kitchen garden, or on nearby farms. It’s a welcome opportunity to dine out midweek in a relaxed country setting, enjoying good company, whilst supporting your local inn and community.

Tuesday evenings – 5pm – 8pm (pre-booking advised).

Wednesday is Pie Night

The Pilsley Inn’s individual homemade pies, with shortcrust pastry, generously filled with slow-cooked Estate-farmed beef and lamb, are always a popular menu choice, and now there is a dedicated Pie Night each Wednesday to celebrate this hearty British pub classic.

Choose your favourite pie, served with mash, and a pint of selected ale for just £15 per person. The pie selection includes Chatworth Beef and Ale in a rich gravy, Slow Cooked Lamb and garden mint, or Lentil Shepherd’s pie, prepared with spiced lentils, roasted root vegetables and peas.

Extra side dishes include truffle parmesan fries, BBQ broccoli or buttered vegetables (£5 per portion).

Wednesday evenings – 5pm – 8pm (pre-booking advised).

Thursday is ‘Fire & Feast’ Night

To round off the midweek specials, The Hide invites diners to indulge in its ‘Rodizio’ style ‘Fire & Feast’ evening, taking place each Thursday.

Inspired by Brazilian dining, cuts of meat, including picanha steak, smoked brisket, chimichurri roasted chicken thighs, honey-chipotle pork belly and a ‘House special’ are cooked on coals for a delicious smokehouse flavour and carved at the table. Diners signal via a token system to say they’re ready for more or having a breather.

A premium salad bar offers freshly prepared dishes such as rocket, parmesan and aged balsamic; beetroot, orange and dill and charcoal roasted cauliflower dressed with tahini. Also choose from several hot sides, such as skinny fries, charred corn ribs and mac & cheese (all £5) as an optional extra.

‘Fire & Feast’ menu is priced at £24.95 for adults and kids at £12.50.

Desserts include caramelised pineapple with spiced rum glaze, coconut sorbet, toasted coconut and lime, or smoked chocolate brownies-warm, dark chocolate brownies, vanilla ice cream, burnt marshmallow and chocolate sauce.

Thursday evenings – 6.30pm – 8pm (pre-booking advised).
