The Festival of Food and Drink throws open its gates for another sizzling September weekend at Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire on the 19th & 20th of September.

For 13 years the Festival of Food and Drink has done things a little differently and now is probably a good time to mention that not all food festivals are the same. It’s not a massive corporate event, although it does pack a mighty punch when it comes to its line-up – as a family-owned festival, they care about giving you a great day out without a silly price tag.

Festival owner, Bev Channell says, “I grew up coming to Sherwood Forest and Thoresby Park, it’s a special place for us. As a local I know first-hand how special this area is. For the festival we work hard to offer a great day, we constantly strive to keep our entry price low at just £12 including parking. We are seeing the same cost increases as everyone else and our focus is and always has been to squeeze the absolute maximum value into your ticket.”

You will get to see incredible chefs including, John Torode and Lisa Faulkner, Dean Edwards and Claire Syrenne on Saturday 19th and Matt Tebbutt, Jasmine Mitchell and Francesco Mattana on Sunday 20th, all tastefully guided by TV presenter and festival favourite, Chris Bavin as the Cookery Theatre host.

Alongside a massive, packed programme of activities and workshops, visitors can shop and explore over 160 stalls featuring delicious food, drink, street food, bars, gifts, crafts, and homewares.

If you have never been before, come see what makes the Festival of Food and Drink different. Head over to the website to check out the full schedule.

Advanced tickets are available now at just £12 per ticket. Children under 5 go free and we are dog-friendly too.
