La Dolce Vita Lambarellis is celebrating after being named Best Restaurant at the Chesterfield Best Bar None Awards 2026, less than two years after reopening under its current ownership.
The independent Italian restaurant on Chatsworth Road received the accolade in recognition of its commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience in a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment.
The success follows another recent honour, with the restaurant also being recognised as the Highest Recommended Best Newcomer at the 2026 UK Italian Awards in London, highlighting the impact it has made in just one year and ten months.
The restaurant says the awards reflect the dedication and hard work of its entire team, both past and present, as well as the continued support of its loyal customers.
Leading the kitchen is Head Chef Nico, who brings more than 20 years of experience from Italy. Alongside classic Italian favourites, the menu features authentic Sardinian dishes and drinks inspired by his heritage, while a changing specials menu, updated every two weeks, allows the team to showcase seasonal ingredients and creative new dishes.
A spokesperson for La Dolce Vita Lambarellis said:"
We are absolutely thrilled to receive these awards. Running an independent restaurant takes an enormous amount of hard work and dedication, so to be recognised in this way means the world to us. We'd like to thank every member of our team, past and present, whose commitment has helped us achieve this success, as well as all of our wonderful customers for their continued support. We're excited to see what the future holds as we approach our second anniversary."
Since reopening under its current ownership, La Dolce Vita Lambarellis has established itself as a popular destination for authentic Italian cuisine, combining traditional recipes, quality ingredients and warm hospitality in the heart of Chesterfield.
