The Hide invites you to sample locally-sourced meats, cooked Smokehouse ‘Rodizio’ style at their ‘Fire & Feast Thursdays’, taking place weekly this June from Thursday 4th June. Inspired by Brazilian outdoor dining, cuts of meat are cooked on open coals for a delicious smokehouse flavour and calved at the table, with diners using a token system to say they’re ready for more or having a breather. This includes picanha steak, smoked brisket, chimichurri roasted chicken thighs, and honey-chipotle pork belly, along with an extra cut presented as a weekly ‘House special’.
The menu is simple and will no doubt have family appeal. There’s also a premium salad bar, including freshly prepared dishes such as rocket, parmesan and aged balsamic; beetroot, orange and dill and charcoal roasted cauliflower dressed with tahini. With your meats choose from several hot sides, such as skinny fries, charred corn ribs and mac & cheese (all £5) as an optional extra.
‘Fire & Feast’ menu is priced at £24.95 for adults and kids at £12.50. Dessert menu also available with choices including caramelised pineapple with spiced rum glaze, coconut sorbet, toasted coconut and lime, or smoked chocolate brownies-warm, dark chocolate brownies, vanilla ice cream, burnt marshmallow and chocolate sauce.
