This summer is turning out to be an absolute corker! As you may know dear reader, my flock have done an America and Canada holiday (it was amazing by the way), and the first day in Washington DC an email arrived. Our friends at Ripley and Heanor news wondered if they could do a quick follow-up interview to a piece they ran a couple of years ago, and so yours truly did her first ever “trans-Atlantic” interview!

I haven’t got an up-to-date picture, so the original photo had to suffice (the upside was that there are fewer wrinkles on my chops than in real-life!). Ashleigh worked her wordsmith magic and the resulting page 2 piece was lovely; well, I think so anyway :) You can read it here.

After having had our busiest month ever on the website (11,000 visits) this article was the icing on the cake.

Over the next few weeks there will be several pieces on our overseas odyssey appearing, as well as new reviews from our own glorious county, so keep your beady eyes peeled :)
