Business Details On The Sticky Beak Blog
The Horseshoes
The Three Horseshoes is situated between Derby and Ashbourne, set in stunning Derbyshire countryside. The property dates from the 18th century and had sadly, over recent years, like many of England's country pubs fallen in to some disrepair. Threatened with closure on multiple occasions, only the valiant efforts and thanks to a handful of hardy regulars, the pub was kept alive.
Under new ownership since April 2015 and following a significant investment, several months of renovation and extension, the 'new' Three Horseshoes is a unique, re-invention of the traditional English pub.
Complementing the bar area, the owners have created a new restaurant area and state of the art kitchen to provide a platform for Head Chef, Gareth Ward, one of the Midland's most talented young Chefs, to deliver his exceptional menus in a comfortable and interesting ambience.
