A Family-owned, luxury hotel with high-class restaurant to opened in Bakewell last month
The H Boutique Hotel – situated in the heart of Bakewell - opened its doors to the public for the first time on May 24th.
The Proctor family, who have been in business in Bakewell for over thirty years, launch their brand-new venture, where luxury accommodation, fine-dining and attentive service will be at the heart of the customer experience.
The H Boutique Hotel seeks to become the premier Peak District venue for both accommodation and cuisine. Ten rooms – three suites and seven luxury doubles (More infos at Hotels.com) – have been tastefully decorated to a high standard. Natural colours and light oak adorn the space. The en-suite bathrooms are exquisite.
Diners will be invited to taste a selection of cuisines from a choice of locations: the recently refurbished restaurant with views over Water Street; the sun-kissed terrace, where alfresco summer dining will make this an unmissable spot. Waiters and waitresses will provide wine from the adjacent wine wall – a feature we are very excited about. A selection of new and old-world wines will be provided to accompany the food.
This is very much a venture for local people to be excited about too: a new bar space will be open to the public; the coffee-shop and adjacent Bakewell Pudding Parlour will open once again after refurbishment. Tasting evenings, theme events and music will return.
