Derby College’s Roundhouse Events team will host their first street food festival on Saturday August 4 – bringing a tasty mix of food, themed bars, live music and much more to the iconic Roundhouse in Pride Park.
The Roundhouse Street Feast will open at 11am and continue until 9pm.
As well as a wide selection of top notch street food and bars, there will be a variety of entertainment and competitions.
There will also be the chance to browse along Market Street and buy some unique gifts from a great selection of pop up shops.
General admission tickets cost £5 each, £4 for NUS card holders, 5% off nexus discounts and entry for under 10’s is free. There are no age restrictions to enter Roundhouse Street Feast but all bars and exhibitors serving alcohol will operate the Challenge 25 policy.
Roundhouse Events Manager Katie Holifield said: “We are very excited about the Roundhouse Street Feast.
“Having hosted a wide range of fayres, markets and festivals we were keen to bring together the artisan businesses in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
“We will be offering the best of food, drink and gifts and organise live entertainment to create a chilled out vibe on what will hopefully be a sunny day and evening.
“The Roundhouse – which is acclaimed by Guinness World Records as the oldest surviving locomotive Roundhouse in the world – has been the venue for some of the city’s top events and this will be a great addition to our packed events diary this year.”
There will be limited free on-site parking behind the Roundhouse and then multiple pay and display carparks nearby (check https://www.derby.gov.uk/transport-and-streets/parking/car-parks-council)
Tickets are available at https://roundhousestreetfeast.eventbrite.co.uk
Early bird tickets are on sale currently until 15th May at £4 per person.
