Get ready Somercotes residents, there’s a new eaterie in the village opening its doors on 1st March 2017. The Curry Lounge is going to offer Fine Indian Dining at its Market Place premises (formerly the Groundworks building) and I for one cannot wait to go and try it out.
I was passing the other day and couldn’t resist having a cheeky peek through the outside windows. In all honesty I failed to get a good look at the interior, but did manage to make out purple accents in the decor.
In keeping with the trend at the minute, The Curry Lounge will permit diners to take their own alcohol with them when they’re dining on the premises. This idea appeals because if you’re going with a group of friends you can take a variety of beverages with you and share them out. Sometimes after a glass or two of wine I fancy a lager or cider, and I’m sure you occasionally feel the same?
Anyway, if you find yourselves craving curry midweek, pop down for the opening; the team are already taking bookings on 01773 528588. Good Luck from us here at The Sticky Beak Blog for your opening night, we wish you all the luck in the world :)
