Denby is delighted to celebrate the cinematic release of DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE during the year the pottery celebrates the 35th Anniversary of its classic and timeless Imperial Blue pattern.
In the 1930s, you’d be sure to find Denby in the kitchens of great English country houses.
Predominantly in salt-glazed earthy tones, Denby caused quite the stir with the release of their Cottage Blue Kitchen & Tableware.
Blue has connotations of nobility and refinement and inspired by Cottage Blue, Imperial Blue now carries the Denby classic mantel. As the story of Downton Abbey evolves through social change, so too has Imperial Blue, combining history and modernity to suit consumer lifestyles.
To mark the film’s release, Denby have partnered with Universal Pictures to offer the opportunity to win a DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE inspired luxury trip for 2 people to London and a Denby Afternoon Tea Set.
The trip to London includes 2 nights luxury accommodation, Champagne Afternoon Tea, a trip to the theatre, dinner at one of London’s oldest and most famous restaurants – a favourite of the Crawley’s.
To be in with a chance to win this unforgettable prize with DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE; visit Denby’s website or social channels. https://www.denbypottery.com/pages/downton-abbey
Still handcrafted in Derbyshire, Imperial Blue showcases the quality of British craftsmanship and is at the front-runner of the ‘buy well, buy once’ movement with all the inherent qualities for which Denby is renowned
