Following a long closure, The Bulls Head, Denby, Ripley, will soon back open, just in time for New Year!

Situated in the heart of Denby Common, lies the Bulls Head bar and restaurant, which has sadly remained closed since the Covid closure. With its cosy bar and fabulous garden terraces, the beloved ‘local’ was always renowned as a place of love and laughter with its regular customers and diners.

Catering for all customers, the bar will be fully stocked with an extensive selection of wines, spirits and beers, with signature cocktails available for those extra special occasions! When it comes to dining, the chef team are busily working hard curating the perfect menu. From high quality steaks to winter warming stroganoff and of course, everybody’s favorite pub classics such as beer battered fish and chips, there will certainly be something for everyone to enjoy!

Bringing the pub back to life is the award-winning hospitality group Fine and Country Inns. With an incredible estate of fresh food restaurants across Derbyshire and Yorkshire, the team cannot wait to bring their wealth of experience and knowledge to Denby.

Chairman of Fine and Country Inns, Gary Hunt offers an insight into their venues; “Great pubs are very often the hub of a community, and we aim to deliver the best possible experience for the people of Denby and the surrounding area. Every venue in our current estate, whether it be a destination dining restaurant, local pub or boutique hotel, boasts character and charm, and we take great pride in ensuring their individuality shines through.

As a company we pride ourselves on good customer service and high standards. Through experience we have learned that in hospitality we are there to serve and prove that we care about our customers. We also care very much about our staff as they are the heartbeat of any business and are the key to its success. Our venues aim to provide comfortable stylish surroundings that people from all walks of life feel comfortable to visit and enjoy their social time. We are very excited and looking forward to reopening, meeting all customers and making the Bulls Head the heart of the community once again.”
