The Stenson Fields has honoured Councillor Nadine Peatfield, after the pub reopened as a new Sizzling Pub & Grill on Thursday 7th February following an extensive remodel.

The pub and its staff are planning a host of fundraising events and activities in the upcoming months, aiming to raise money and awareness in support of Children First Derby.

The Sinfin Pub & Grill celebrated its reopening by inviting Councillor for Sinfin, Nadine Peatfield to officially reopen the new look pub, making them guests of honour at a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located on Pilgrims Way, the refreshed Stenson Fields resumed serving guests after an extensive two-week refurbishment. Following a significant investment three new jobs have been created for the local area.

Speaking about reopening Stenson Fields, Nadine Peatfield, said: “I’m thrilled to have been given the honour of officially reopening Stenson Fields and the support they’ve pledged is absolutely amazing.”

Commenting on the pub’s new look, general manager, Deborah Gowler said: “We’re so pleased at how brilliant The Stenson Fields looks following the refurbishment, and we were thrilled to have Nadine Peatfield cut the ceremonial ribbon for us.

“Bringing the new look Sizzling Pub & Grill to Sinfin is really exciting for the whole team. At Sizzling Pub & Grill, we want to offer good food and good value for all our guests, and we’re thrilled to be providing the area with a new dining destination that does that in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

“The pub looks fantastic following its refurbishment. We can’t wait to welcome back our regulars and the people of the Sinfin to see what the new look Stenson Fields is all about.”

Following the refurbishment, Stenson Fields will continue to look to support the local community with a calendar of fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
