Harpur's of Melbourne
Melbourne, Derbyshire

Harpur’s of Melbourne is situated in the centre of Melbourne, a beautiful Georgian market town, right on the corner of Derby Road and Potter Street. It is the focal point of the town and has been part of the heritage of Melbourne for well over 150 years, Formerly The Melbourne Hotel, before the name was changed to Harpur’s after extensive refurbishment in 2011, this was originally a pair of houses fronting on to Potter Street, built on a vacant plot of land in 1773. The Hotel started in one of the houses, before expanding into the other house and then extended onto Derby Road in 1853.

Melbourne, and the surrounding area, is steeped in history and Harpur’s is an excellent base for sightseeing. It offers you the comfort and style to ensure your trip is enjoyable, relaxing and memorable.
