Kushi-Ya
Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Kushi-ya (meaning skewer shop) is a Japanese inspired independent restaurant in the heart of Nottingham serving up a wide range of izakaya style dishes. There is a large main dining area, outside seating, a private dinning room for larger groups and we always keep tables free for walk-ins.

We also have a bar area where you can pop in just for drinks or hang around before or after your meal and choose from a large variety of Japanese beers, sake, cocktails and spirits including a selection of hard to find and rare Japanese whisky.

We strive to use the best produce and cook it simply, the open kitchen allows diners to see the chefs at work and enjoy the smells created by grilling meat, fish and vegetables over charcoal on our specially imported Japanese grill.
