One of the East Midland's Most Conveniently Located Hotels Serving up Style and Substance

The East Midlands is one of the most central regions of the UK, and Donington Manor Hotel boasts a location that is hard to beat when it comes to accessibility and convenience: Just minutes from the M1, A50 and A42, the Grade II listed venue is also less than five minutes from East Midlands Airport and Donington Park Race Track, making it the ideal starting point for endless adventures.

Whilst many hotels are within touching distance of major roads and airports, Donington Manor has both the stylish surroundings and cosy atmosphere that have ensured popularity with guests from both the surrounding area and from further afield. The building itself started life as an 18th century coaching inn, and by way of careful and considerate extension plans has evolved into a charming venue that has a unique blend of traditional features and newer focal points.

All of the 32 bedrooms at Donington Manor Hotel are unique in their own way, and each is styled differently, from antique opulence, sleekly contemporary or cutely cosy. All rooms boast Flat screen LCD televisions, complimentary cosmetics and tea and coffee making facilities, so even if plans involve one of the nearby Donnington Park events or a journey from East Midlands Airport, guests might be hard-pushed to venture much further than the comfort of their bedroom.

The Sage restaurant has cemented a reputation of its own thanks to the passion and skills of Head Chef Jeff Cadden and his team. Comfy and inviting, Sage is the only eatery in the Castle Donington area that boasts a mouth-watering Sunday carvery, an end of week staple up and down the country where the entire family is treated to fresh, locally sourced ingredients including flavoursome vegetables and quality cuts of meat. Alternatively, get a little continental on Tuesday with the weekly Italian Night, when the kitchen team flex their culinary prowess to offer a delightfully selection of dishes inspired by Italian cuisine.

James Blick, Acting General Manager of Donington Manor Hotel says “Our location is at the heart of the midlands, and the country as a whole, so not only are we a great gateway to the rest of the UK, we are also an incredible place to bring friends, family and work associates together from all over. There might be other hotels that can say they have such great nearby amenities and transport links, but there aren’t many who can combine this with the family-friend style customer service we are passionate about, and the sumptuous and comfy surroundings we provide.”

With six individual rooms that can host between two and 150 guests with an abundance of natural daylight and stunning views onto the hotel garden, every function from interview to romantic nuptials can be catered for. A committed events co-ordinator is on hand to tailor each occasion to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and will handle all requirements with flexibility, enthusiasm and professionalism.

From weddings to conferences, celebrations to a simple stopover, Donington Manor Hotel is the perfect choice for both convenience and comfort.
