Those looking for a place to entertain the kids on a Sunday can kick back and enjoy a relaxing afternoon and sumptuous lunch at Ye Olde Bell and after the meal the little ones can go wild at their own private party.
The hotel, in the rural village of Barnby Moor, on the borders of Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, now offers monthly themed parties for youngsters. The whole family can enjoy a delicious three course Sunday lunch, under eights eat for free.
Then the adults can unwind over coffee or with an extra drink or two safe in the knowledge that the children are well taken care of in an adjoining area.
The themed entertainment at no extra charge to the lunch includes mini disco, party games and quieter activities. To get in the summer spirit ‘Holiday Time’ will be held on Sunday, 22 July and the room will be transformed into a fun tropical paradise, with pop up palm trees and limbo competitions. This is followed by the ‘Pirates & Princesses’ inspired event on Sunday, 19 August and more creative themes for the autumn and winter months.
Sunday lunch at Ye Olde Bell is renowned and regarded as one of the best in the region. The menu offers an extensive choice of quality seasonal, local produce from Nottinghamshire and neighbouring counties of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The menu always includes a speciality local roast sirloin of Nottinghamshire beef and an extensive range of deliciously tempting sweet treats from the bespoke dessert trolley. The complimentary themed events will be held monthly but the offer of children under eight eating for free is available each week.
