Helping Dad to brush up his BBQ skills for summer and learn the ancient secrets of cooking with fire and smoke could be the perfect gift this Father’s Day. The Fire & Smoke one day BBQ course is just one of a selection on offer from The School of Artisan Food that is sure to delight any Dad.
The School, based in the heart of Sherwood Forest on the historic Welbeck Estate, teaches all aspects of artisan food production and has an outstanding reputation with courses being taught by some of the most skilled and experienced artisan producers and tutors in the UK, Europe and beyond. For Father’s Day, it has come up with a mouth-watering selection of courses and is offering 10 percent off any booked in time for Father’s Day.
The Beer & Cheese Tasting Session would see Dad enjoy a selection of artisan cheeses from across the British Isles, paired with a range of hand-crafted beers from the Welbeck Abbey Brewery.
Or how about continental sausage making where they can learn how to make their favourites from smoky fresh chorizo to classic frankfurters?
For the Italian food lover, the Italian Baking and Pizza Making course will have them baking all their favourite Italian breads as well as taking home focaccia, ciabatta and sweet and savoury pizzas.
Other courses on offer include learning how to make cheese, yoghurt and butter at home; all you need to know about making sourdough baking and the nose to tail pork butchery course.
