Marco Pierre White is hosting an exclusive book signing and live music event at his New York Italian Restaurant in Sheffield, this July. The visit will offer fans and food-lovers alike the chance to dine with this charismatic and internationally-applauded chef.

The event takes place on Wednesday 4th July and includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival, and a delicious three-course dinner put together by Marco himself, especially for the occasion. Guests in attendance will also receive a signed cookbook and have the opportunity to chat to him and ask their culinary questions.

With entertainment from ‘Manhattan ‘til Midnight' - the latest live music concept from Marco's New York Italian - exciting post-modern fusion of roaring, 20's speakeasy style and juke box classics will liven the night up, Manhattan style.

Located in the Hampton by Hilton Sheffield, Marco's New York Italian Restaurant has become the place to be seen in the City's bustling Commercial District. It continues to offer diners its unique take on ‘American-Italian' cuisine.

Speaking ahead of the event, Marco Pierre White said:

"Sheffield is a fantastic city where people are very knowledgeable about food and really enjoy going out for meals.  It is always a joy to come back to the place, meet the customers, and catch up with my amazing team of staff."

Starting at 6pm and priced at £35 per person or £60 per couple, the dinner menu includes dishes like New Orleans crab cakes with sauce remoulade; Aubergine parmigiana with fresh basil; and The Alex James beef burger, Blue Monday cheese, pancetta bacon, iceberg lettuce, and tomato.

Richard Christie, general manager of the hotel, said:

"Every time Marco visits the restaurant it always creates an extra buzz around the place and we very much look forward to welcoming him back. The menu and entertainment for the occasion are exceptionally special, and we can't wait for our diners to try it out."
