Planning Ahead For National Afternoon Tea Week 2018

Afternoon Tea Week takes place from Monday 13th August 2018 and is a celebration of one of the nations favourite traditions. Whether enjoyed in a 5-star hotel or your local tea rooms, we do love the combination of savoury and sweet treats, accompanied by some of the 165 million cups of tea drunk in the UK each day.

Every year at The Sticky Beak Blog we get asked over and over where we would recommend for afternoon tea; so this year we plan to take on the challenge and spend the next couple of months trying out Afternoon Teas across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to bring you a list of recommendations in plenty of time for this year’s Afternoon Tea Week.

Many venues take the opportunity to promote their own afternoon teas with special offers just for that week; we’ll do our best to hunt down those offers and compile you a list.

How Can You Help?

Can you recommend somewhere for us to visit? We plan on visiting between 6 and 10 venues during April, May and June ready to produce an article for mid-July. So tell us about your favourite Afternoon Tea venue and we’ll see if we can pay them a visit. Just send us an email to sticky@thestickybeak.co.uk

Information for Venues

If you are a venue and would like to take part in this article, either by arranging for us to visit you or including your special offer in our list then please get in touch.

All the venues we visit and would recommend will get a review published on The Sticky Beak Blog web site, become part of the Afternoon Tea Week special and will be added to a more permanent article about ‘Where to visit for Afternoon Tea’ which we will publish after Afternoon Tea Week.

If you want to be involved then send us an email to sticky@thestickybeak.co.uk to find out more
