Casa Italian, a brand new Italian restaurant from the owners of Venezia, is set to open on Upper Parliament Street in Nottingham city centre.

Launching later this month, the new restaurant can be found at the former premises of Tandoor Bar and Grill which closed in February 2019.

Venezia, a fine-dining destination for Nottinghamshire foodies, is located in Upper Saxondale - just outside of Bingham. Known for its locally-sourced produce and award-winning chef, its fine-quality food and spectacular service can certainly be expected at its new sister restaurant.

Open since 2014, Venezia has gained a stellar reputation for its authentic Italian dishes and delicious seafood. As the team turn to their second venture, with over six years of restaurant experience, the same quality is guaranteed.

Salvadore Bartolotta is the executive chef behind the recipes - and will oversee both restaurants:

“We created something really special at Venezia that we wanted to bring to the heart of Nottingham. From this, the idea for Casa Italian was born. With our authentic approach, and our passion for fine ingredients, we truly believe that there’s nowhere quite like this in the city centre.

Our menu is built around traditional Italian recipes that have been passed down through generations - but our particular speciality is fresh seafood. Whether you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, or simply passing by for a pizza, you’re always welcome at Casa Italian. We want to capture the spirit of Italian hospitality and make your visit unforgettable - however you wish to dine.

As we launch in our new location, we can’t wait for more people to discover our food and to fall in love with it. We’re looking forward to opening our doors to new guests - as well as those who have come to know and love Venezia over the years.

With our culinary expertise and our attention to detail, we’re so excited to create a new dining experience for the people of Nottingham to enjoy.”

The restaurant is currently recruiting for new members to join its team. If you’re interested in applying, you can get in touch at info@casaitalian.co.uk.
