Known locally as one of the best in the area, the Sunday lunches at Ye Olde Bell feature the best seasonal, local produce from Nottinghamshire and neighbouring counties of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.



Dishes include the likes of Roast sirloin of local beef, Yorkshire pudding, horseradish crème fraiche and red wine gravy; Slow roast pork belly, crackling, Bramley apple sauce, sage and onion stuffing and pan gravy; Spring vegetable risotto, crème fraiche, soft herbs, rocket salad and truffle oil dressing; Breast of chicken, wild mushrooms, thyme, shallots and red wine sauce and Baked haddock mornay, asparagus and Jersey royals. All mains are served with rosemary and thyme roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and seasonal vegetables.

To finish diners can opt for delicious desserts such as Bramley apple pie and vanilla cream custard; Profiteroles with Chantilly cream and chocolate sauce or Summer fruit Pavlova.

The Sunday Roasts are available for collection or free delivery can be arranged for those in the vulnerable category within a 4 mile radius.

Orders can be placed by phone 01777 705121 or 07792491734 before 12pm on the Saturday and choose diners then choose a collection time of 12:30pm, 12:45pm, 1:00pm, 1:15pm, 1:30pm or 1:45pm.

Guests should go to the front door where one of the team will take their name and collect their food from the chef, social distancing guidelines will be observed at all times.

Food will be served at the correct temperature for eating, depending on how far diners have to travel they might want to have their oven ready for a quick blast of heat.

Sunday lunches cost £14 for one course or £18 for two courses. Full payment will be taken at the time of ordering.
