Even if you’re not the ‘Mother of Dragons’, you can still slay this Easter by getting your hands on edition Game of Thrones-inspired chocolate dragon egg, created by Deliveroo and inspired by the cult TV series.

The three beautiful hand-painted eggs will be available on the Deliveroo app and website up until Easter Sunday (21st April), so last-minute Easter egg shopping doesn’t have to be a drag(on).

Famously known for hatching in the epic Khal Droggo pyre scene (Season 1), the dragon eggs are notably one of the most iconic and important plot points in Game of Thrones.

The eggs will be hand-crafted and painted from Fairtrade white chocolate, weighing 1 Kilo and measuring 20cm in height (huge even by Westeros standards!). They will be available from the 14th of April powered by Deliveroo Editions, in the London, Manchester and Leeds regions, costing just £0.80p per egg in honour of the 8th and final series.

Joe Groves at Deliveroo said, “Easter is coming and so is the final series of our favourite blood-soaked romp. We see huge spikes of orders around season premieres and finales and we thought what better way to celebrate hardcore fans than with these amazing scaley creations”.

In 2017 Deliveroo launched You Know Nothing Jon Dough, a pop-up bakery selling Direwolf loaves of bread, which sold out before the store even opened. Deliveroo partnered with Ben Hawkey, otherwise known at Hot Pie to bring the famous bakes to life.
