Kat Galvin and Karl Tyler, co-owners of Chef Karl Tyler Catering and Events have announced that their exciting new restaurant venture, The Dapper Spaniel, will open its doors mid March.
A first look for the press will be held on Monday, March 18, with the VIP launch party and grand opening scheduled later that week for Thursday, March 21st, and Friday March 22nd respectively.
The restaurant is located at the previous site of Gurkha One, on Staythorpe Road in the charming village of Rolleston, Newark.
The Dapper Spaniel is a Gastro Pub, featuring an intimate dining room, a cosy dog friendly bar area, and onsite bed and breakfast accommodation options.
The dining experience showcases a modern twist on traditional British cuisine, prepared to the highest standards; the bar area features a special food menu along with beer and wine options for furry, four legged guests and their human companions.
The Executive Chef and co-owner, Karl Tyler, explained that all ingredients will be locally sourced whenever possible, with a focus on sustainability and supporting the local community.
He added “ We are passionate about offering a fantastic dining experience to our guests; the food is premium but the restaurant will be friendly and relaxed. Everyone is welcome.”
The Dapper Spaniel will be open daily from noon on weekdays and 8am Saturday mornings ; the menus will be seasonal, special events and tasting evenings will be held regularly and the fantastic outdoor seating area will be utilised throughout the summer months.
The Dapper Spaniel gastro pub will open on Friday, March 22, 2019, and bookings are now being accepted via email at bookings@thedapperspaniel.co.uk
